A number of housing programs are offered. The Salvation Army provides both current renters and the homeless with transitional, short and long-term housing, and more support to those in need. Services that are provided across Oregon include.
Motel or Hotel Vouchers - Whether a family is evicted or if a natural disaster destroys a home, The Salvation Army in Oregon is often able to provide transitional housing, including short-term motel vouchers, which will give people a safe place to stay until they can find longer term solutions. Money for paying security deposits and first month’s rent can be provided as well to help people get settled into a new home or apartment.
