Hudson County New Jersey food pantries.

Learn how to get free food, meals, clothing and more from Jersey City and Hudson County food banks and pantries. A number of non-profit centers in the region provide assistance to individuals who are considered low income or who lack resources to purchase groceries or meals on their own. They partner together to prevent hunger in the county.

Get help in the form of free food and non-perishable items that can help you and your family with meeting their nutritional needs. The programs offered are various, and they include, among other things, the collection and distribution of canned items, any non-perishable food or free holiday meals.

Many of the Hudson County New Jersey centers are also thrift shops and offer case management to clients. This is in addition to the free food, groceries, and meals. So the resources administered are extensive, as the pantries provide low income and needy individuals with services that focus on concrete financial and food assistance. They also offer counseling to address barriers to self-sufficiency.
