St. Vincent de Paul thrift store near you

Find how to buy discounted items at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores. The parishes that are part of SVDP sell a wide variety of gently used stuff, based on what is given to their discount centers. Get bargains on clothes, appliances, computers, birthday or Christmas toys, winter jackets, and so much more. Locate a Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, orSVDP, thrift store near you below.

All of the items sold are donated by the public at the donation center. They will be gently used but the stuff needs to be in good condition. All the money raised from the sale of items sold at the thrift stores goes to fund Saint Vincent de Paul, with a large amount of the money raised going to provide financial help to the community. Learn more about the stores below and what you may be able to purchase.

Bargain deals at thrift stores from St. Vincent

Each nearby thrift store has different items and inventory for sale. However, in general, St. Vincent locations are open five days a week, hundreds of days per year. Each resale store is used by thousands of individuals per year. Some of the shoppers are looking to save money on items they need while others are just seeking vintage and/or collectibles to buy. Or they shop there for the fun of it.

Each St. Vincent thrift store sells hundreds of different types of affordable items. There is low-cost or free stuff for a kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, appliances, etc.); living room (couch, chairs, pictures, etc.); bedroom (beds, dressers, mattresses, etc.); kids room, and much more. Or get low-cost washers or dryers or other household appliances from SVDP. Seasonal items can also be sold at the store, including toys for Christmas or other holiday needs. The items sold by SVDP may be 50 to even 90% cheaper than what someone can find at a major retailer.

In addition to telling low-cost stuff to the public, each SVDP Thrift Store is an extension of the social services that the charity offers. They are offered together to the public and less fortunate. The fact is that all monies received by the reselling of donated items are used to pay for the operations of the center, and they also support the financial assistance programs and social services of the non-profit. The money goes to help the hungry, homeless, immigrants and people that are hurting in the area of the parish.

The Thrift Store at SVDP allows people to find great bargains on clothing, computers, furniture, kitchen items, & more. Anyone that shops there will save money with a purpose, as the funds stay local. Volunteers and contributions are needed to keep the store open, as donation boxes are also available at each store.
