Middlesex County New Jersey free Christmas assistance.

Middlesex County families that live on a low income or that are in a crisis can get help during the holidays. There are many charity organizations as well as non-profits that provide free Christmas gifts to kids, meals or food boxes to an entire household, and much more. Most of the assistance in Middlesex County New Jersey is focused on assisting the less fortunate at Christmas, but there are also Easter and Thanksgiving programs available.

The enrollment period for any gift giving program will start around September and may run as late as the end of November. However many others, such as Toys for Tots, have an earlier cut off date. Any Christmas assistance program or gift giveaways, from services such as Adopt a Family or Toys for tots, is first come and served. Once the toys, games, electronics, clothing, etc. run out, then no more families can be assisted.

Free holiday food baskets are also available. These can feed a family at Thanksgiving as well as Christmas. To a lesser extent there may also be help at Easter in Middlesex County New Jersey. More information, in particular for the Christmas resources, is below.
