Rental and security deposit assistance Lafayette Parish.

When all options have failed, some churches or charities offer assistance with rent to qualified Lafayette Parish families. Funds are limited and all financial aid, whether for rental or security deposits costs, is discretionary. Also find government agencies or charities below that operate shelters, provide security deposit help, loans, utility bill help and other support.

Emergency rental assistance is often combined with long term stability. Whether it is an affordable and safe home, or section 8 HUD vouchers from Lafayette Housing Authority, support is given. The financial help for bills, rent, and more is also combined with social services.

Catholic Charities has two locations. They are:

  • St. Joseph's Diner, 613 W Simcoe St, Lafayette, Louisiana 70501, call (337) 235-4972
