Free Christmas and holiday assistance Louisville and Jefferson County Kentucky.

Several organizations in Jefferson County provide free holiday assistance to families, children, or seniors during the Christmas and Thanksgiving season. Low income residents can turn to charities as well as local churches in Louisville and the county for free Christmas toys, gifts or hot meals, including at Thanksgiving. There are even national organizations that can help, such as Toys for Tots in Louisville as well as the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. However most are focused on a limited area or certain zip codes in the county.

Clients can not only receive some type of free food basket, meal, or toys for the holiday, but they will also be referred to longer term support to deal with the cause of their struggle.
