Food banks, groceries and free pantries Palm Beach County.

Emergency food can be provided to Palm Beach County Florida residents from churches, food banks, soup kitchens and free emergency pantries near you. The goal is to low-income families and others temporarily meet their need for nutrition. Many locations can also offer free personal hygiene supplies, clothing, referrals, and information on other government assistance programs. Find information below on free food pantries open today in Palm Beach County, including a toll free phone number at the bottom of the page.

Many of the locations have created programs that acquire food and personal care products through donations from members of the community. The goods may be provided to the pantry from canned food drives, charities or government surplus programs. The pantries then distribute the food, for free or low cost, to families and individuals in Palm Beach Florida who are faced with a crisis or emergency situation. Case workers also help with applications to benefits including WIC, SNAP food stamps, Meals on Wheels for seniors and summer meals for children. Even find how to get emergency food stamps.

Other services are available as well. Some of the food pantries also can provide hot meals, access to soup kitchen, and deliver food to senior citizens and disabled individuals in the county as part of a free Meals on Wheels service. CROS Ministries
They partner with many churches and charities across Palm Beach County. It is a network of free emergency food pantries. Many are open daily, including today. There are shelf-stable groceries, fruits, vegetables, dairy, milk, cereal, Ensure, canned meat and more. The items at each location depend on donations and volunteers from the Palm Beach County FL area. Some centers even have toys or household supplies, like free soap, detergent, or feminine products.

Several churches in Boynton Beach, Pahokee, Palm Beach and other towns provide social services. There are free hot meals from soup kitchens, personal toiletries or hygiene supplies, soap, detergent, paper goods and other food assistance. There are multiple food banks, soup kitchens, and Salvation Army feeding programs. Whether it is financial aid or free food from the pantry, this non-profit may help Palm Beach County families. They will also have personal hygiene items as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets or turkey dinners. Case workers also help the poor apply for SNAP food stamps or WIC vouchers.
