Food pantries and free groceries in Oswego County

There are a number of food banks, soup kitchens and free food pantries in Oswego County. If a resident meets the application criteria set by each distribution center, then households may be provided groceries, meals, and more. The sites may offer items such as baby formula, fruits, and food for special diets as well. Find a food pantry that may be near you in Oswego County.

The pantries will acquire fresh or canned goods from volunteers as well as partner sites, such as regional food banks. The items will be packed into boxes for clients. When disbursed, the qualified individual may be given a bag or box that has enough food to last for a few days. It can be canned items, produce, eggs, dairy stuff and other fresh food. This form of aid can go a long way towards ending or delaying hunger in Oswego County. It will provide the resident time to locate, and apply, for long term support as well.
