Find how to get free or low cost medical care in New York City. A number of free medical, dental and health care centers help the low-income, uninsured, immigrants and homeless. There are free eye exams, physicals, OBGYNs, and dental as well including teeth cleanings, removals, or even root canals. Find a free healthcare center near you in NYC.

There is assistance in all boroughs of New York City, including Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island .Each non-profit community health center in New York City will offer its own program. However there are generally free Vision and Hearing screenings, Family Planning, Pediatrics, STD checks, and more. Dentists also help the low-income and people on Medicaid with free Wisdom teeth removal, exams, fluoride, preventative care and more.

Most of the places in NYC are also Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which means the care is free or sliding fee scale. They also help people with no insurance or a low-income with walk-in exams as well as affordable, or free, doctors on demand (telehealth services).

Community Healthcare Network
People with no or limited health insurance can qualify for free medical care.
