The government organization provides emergency shelter and non-residential services. In addition to clothing and household goods, the center provides employment services, legal assistance, and education/training to victims of domestic violence. SVDP of Long Island
This is the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Several churches (conferences) are part of the charity. They give out free clothes, operate a bed/bedroom set furniture program, a provide financial aid too. The Salvation Army in Long Island
The non-profit provides a wide range of services in Long Island. The agency can help the low-income and people. The charity has a free school supply giveaway for students in grades K-12 as well as clothes closet. There are also free vouchers, winter coats for seniors and kids on Long Island and other social services.
