Christian Help, Inc-  This non-profit provides limited financial assistance to those in need. The amount of help can be as low as $50, but funds may be provided. The agency also provides free clothing and other household goods including baby items, food, and more from the pantry or Free Store. Typical requests satisfied by DHHR  include help with rent payments, funds for paying utility and heating bills and restoring electricity, or emergency lodging.   • This charity type organization provides information on small scale grants to single mothers, hispanices, seniors and immigrants in Monongalia County. The money can be used to meet crucial and/or emergency needs of low income individuals and families in the community.

The charity provides emergency free food to individuals and families. The center also usually carries staple items as well as bread, baby food and diapers.
