Free medical clinics Knox County Tennessee.

Knox County Tennessee is supported by several community clinics that may be able to help individuals who do not have health insurance or whose income may make it difficult for them to pay their medical bills. A number of free or low cost services are offered by the medical clinics, and find how you and your family can get help below.

The health centers will generally provide free basic health or dental care including immunizations, physical examinations, family planning, or medications. There may be free eye exams for kids or the elderly in Knoxville as well as nutrition assistance or diagnosis and treatment of common ailments. Health care services can be offered for low income people, uninsured/underinsured, people who are homeless or other medically underserved populations across the greater Knoxville TN area.

Most of the medical services are generally provided to qualified patients on an ability-to-pay basis, so individuals will only need to pay what they can afford to pay towards their bills. Other programs available may be able to provide primary and specialty health care to the uninsured and underinsured, including refugees.

Some centers in Knox County Tennessee may be able to provide free or low cost dental, mental health services, oncology, or prenatal care. Many of the clinics also partner with other non-profit clinics and organizations, and combined can provide comprehensive care through a network of generous community partners including labs, physicians, diagnostic centers, and local hospitals.
