Iredell County food pantries.

There are several food pantries as well as non-profits that are spread across the Iredell County region and that focus on assisting low income families. The locations offer everything from free groceries to holiday meals and other items. Some of the other assistance programs provide from these pantries may be gently used clothing, referrals to emergency financial support, and also applications to SNAP food stamps.

The pantries will require a family to apply for assistance. They will often have other conditions as well, such as they will only disburse free food a limited number of times per year to each client. Or they may require a recipient to take some other action, such as be in job training or maybe even give back by volunteering at the food bank. So conditions are in effect.
