Free furniture banks, clothing closets, and back to school supplies Hillsboro and Washington County Oregon.

Free basic needs such as clothes, birthday toys, back to school items and household supplies can be provided for free by a clothing closet or at a reduced priced from thrift stores. There are also free furniture banks for beds, couches, and other items. A number of centers operate in Washington County Oregon. Low income families, students, and children that use these centers can benefit from the assistance that is provided. The free clothing or other household goods will allow families to use their income to pay for other bills and living costs.

Many of the thrift stores, furniture banks and clothing centers in Washington County rely on donations. So what an individual will find at a location will vary, often on a weekly basis. However some of the more common items include free winter coats, backpacks for school, shoes, diapers, furniture for a new home or apartment, backpacks for students, and clothing for work or a job interview.

Many of the non-profit centers and churches below also provide referrals. As charities may give clothes or other goods too. Clients can get information on additional federal government or Oregon government assistance programs.

The non-profit, known as Community Warehouse, provides support to the entire region. There are household items like kitchen tables, chairs, beds, and more. A faith based charity that helps the poor, immigrants, and disadvantaged. There are free clothes, including for work or school. A free furniture bank is also on site. This is a faith-based, charity volunteer/donation based ministry. It offers, or sells from a thrift store, baby items, furniture, household goods, linens, and clothing. Medical equipment in Washington County also offers canes, crutches, walkers, hospital beds, seniors or disabled with raised toilet seats, safety bars, and more to low income and uninsured.
