Credit counseling agencies can help Kentucky individuals and offer them free debt assistance, information on mortgage programs, budgeting, as well as other support. The non-profit provides free budget counseling to assist consumers in paying down debts, avoiding missed bill payments, resolving credit issues, establishing long term financial goals, or purchasing an automobile or home. The program was created as a collaboration of the Southern Indiana Asset Building Coalition/Making Change organization, with the goal of helping people achieve self-sufficiency over the long term.
