Cleveland area holiday and free Christmas assistance.

Find holiday help in the greater Cleveland Ohio metropolitan area. Charities or churches provide needy and low income families with free Christmas toys, gifts, meals, and other items, including at Thanksgiving as well. The goods are often donated by people in the community, and many local churches as well as charities operate the Christmas programs as well as Toys for Tots or Angel Tree.

Items are offered across the counties of Cuyahoga, Ashland, Holmes, Geauga, Lawrence, Allen, Medina, Portage, and Wayne County. Children can get gifts, the elderly may qualify for a home delivered meals, and the homeless can also stop by for help. The groups try to spread the Christmas, or other holiday joy, to as many people as possible.

Resources are limited, and the programs depend heavily on donations. Please contribute toys, games, food, money, or items if you can. As the free Christmas or Thanksgiving assistance programs help many low income families provide help to their kids during the holidays.
