Find Cherokee County food pantries.

The free food pantries that support families in Cherokee County offer much more than a box of groceries or hot meals. The non-profits try to also address the reason of why a family or individual is living in poverty and facing hunger. So in addition to food, they offer additional basic needs (such as clothing for work) as well as case management.

The distribution centers have various hours and days of operation. Some of the food banks are only available a few days per month, while others provide emergency groceries up to five days per week. However the contents of a box of food will vary based on what was donated to the non-profit pantry.

Some of what a charity may offer includes infant formula, Thanksgiving or Christmas meals, fruits, clothing for work or school, and dairy items. Many non-perishable food items are also offered in Cherokee County. Or clients can apply for social services such as ESL classes, job assistance, or shelters.
