Buncombe County free Christmas and holiday assistance.

Applications for free Christmas toys and free gifts are taken by some or all of the charities in the Asheville area below. The demand for additional help around the holidays is very high as many families struggle to buy the gifts their kids request. Or they struggle to pay for a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. The non-profits, including Toys for Tots, below may be able to help by giving out free Christmas presents, food baskets and Thanksgiving turkeys.

Using donations from the community for programs such as Angel Tree or Adopt-a-Family, the goal is to provide children from low income families some form of gift or clothing item. They too need something to put under the Christmas tree to unwrap. When seeking holiday assistance in Buncombe County, apply early as resources are limited.
