Free food banks, soup kitchens, groceries and pantries in Boone and Grant County.

Several non-profit food pantries operate in the greater Boone as well as Grant County area. Locations of food banks and soup kitchens near you give out free groceries, hygiene supplies focus on seniors by running a meals on wheels service. There are also centers that provide free summer meals to children during the summer or offer help during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. Volunteers work at many of these pantries as they do operate as non-profit agencies. They also rely heavily on donations from restaurants as well as supermarkets in Boone County. If someone can donate to the operate of one of these food banks, please do so.

United Ministries of Boone County

Programs include financial aid for bills or rent as well as Christmas toys for children from Angel Tree. Shelter, a thrift store, and food pantry are also on site.
