Free Christmas and holiday assistance Summit County Ohio.

All across Summit County are charities and churches that offer free help during the holidays. They assist low income families with children by providing free Christmas gifts, toys or food baskets. The charities also help seniors or disabled as well as the homebound in the form of free home delivered holiday meals at Thanksgiving or Christmas. There are also regional services in the Akron area. including Toys for Tots from a number of charities as well as the Salvation Army Angel Tree and Adopt a Family program.
