Polk County Florida free clothing closets.

Find where to get free clothes in Polk County Florida. A number of non-profits and churches help the less fortunate and offer assistance from clothing closets. There are also several thrift stores in the area, and these will sell gently used goods to the general public.

The locations are open limited hours and what is sold or passed out will vary by site and time of the year. For example, some of the centers will distribute items such as shoes or school supplies during the back to school season. Others will have toys and gifts for Polk County children during Christmas. However most of the clothing closets will be able to meet basic needs of the low income and poor. Those residents with the lowest income may qualify for a voucher for free goods.
