Orange County and Orlando area Florida free clothing closets, furniture banks and school items.

Find a list of free clothing closets as well as furniture banks for residents of the greater Orlando Florida area. Many of the assistance programs provides, including free back to school supplies, clothes, diapers, or furniture is provided from churches, charities, as well as other regional non-profit organizations. The locations that give out free stuff, and are listed below, are spread across Lake, Orange, and Seminole County.

The exact type of goods from each center will vary, but in general it include items such as free shoes, coats, school supplies, work attire and also other basic, general clothing items. The clothing closets can often also help meet other needs in the community, such as offering referrals, case management, and maybe even other goods such as diapers or gently used furniture. Some will coordinate special Christmas assistance for children as well.

The clothing bank may provide for the distribution of clothes for families and individuals in need. They also partner with groups such as the Heart of Florida United Way to provide clothing to kids and school items to students. Referrals are also provided to free furniture banks and charitable organizations.

Salvation Army family stores and free items
There are a number of locations in Orlando, Sanford, and nearby towns and counties. Each provided assistance. Whether it is a free back to school supply giveaway program, diapers for new moms, furniture, or financial aid, help is offered. find the Salvation Army in Orange County. There is a Crisis Closet on site. It provides free clothing items for those in need. The location offers other support too. This can include, but is not limited to, some toiletry items and limited household goods such as blankets, towels, bedding and more.
