Free and Low Cost Community Clinics in New Jersey by County (FQHC Centers)
New Jersey residents can get low cost or free medical care from Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). These nonprofit clinics provide services to people without insurance, those with limited income, or anyone facing high medical costs.
All community clinics listed below offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program. This reduces the cost of care based on income and household size. No patient is turned away for inability to pay. Services vary by location but often include primary care, pediatric care, women’s health, prenatal care, dental services, mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, lab work, and prescription assistance.
