New Jersey low cost or free dental clinics.

Low income families and people without health insurance in New Jersey have several low cost or free clinic centers available to them that they can turn to for assistance. Each location near them offers a wide array of free or affordable dental services, ranging from check ups, cleanings, to maybe even emergency oral surgery like root canals or wisdom teeth removal. A major focus is on helping the uninsured, elderly, veterans and children. The locations in New Jersey will offer free dental care to low income adults, children, those with insurance, Medicaid, and others.

Most of the community clinics are part of the Federal Government Qualified Health Center network. This means they offer care that is based on a sliding fee scale, so families and individuals only need to pay what they can afford to pay towards their bills if it is not free. Most of the New Jersey centers and the dentists on site will not turn anyone away who needs help, regardless of their race, income, or background. A focus is usually on children and the least fortunate. In addition, government insurance, such as Medicaid, can generally be used to pay for any needed dental care.

Get information on and contact a dental clinic in New Jersey that may be near you below for assistance. There is also a referral number at the bottom of this page for information on other centers. Or find free health insurance plans from the government.
