There are many food pantries, soup kitchens, and feeding programs run by the Christian Charity. They help the low income, Mexican or other immigrants, the vulnerable and others. They help the homeless, poor, and unemployed. The charity provides free emergency food for people of all income and backgrounds who live within parish boundaries. The program is only for residents of zip codes 90006, parts of 90007 and  90019. Services and the food is provided only on the first three Saturdays of the month.
