Corpus Christi and Nueces County rent assistance.

Struggling families in Nueces County can receive rent assistance from a combination of non-profits and government agencies. Most of the funds are targeted to low income families as well as the disabled or senior citizens. Anyone that is facing a crisis should call upon an organization or even a local church  to learn how they can offer help with paying rent or a security deposit.

The staff at the agencies also provide counseling to tenants. This can be another form of eviction prevention as it can help find a solution. Or if an agency in Corpus Christi doesn't have funding for assisting with rent, then referrals may be provided to either government grant programs or short term housing.

When applying for funds for rental costs, applicants will need proof of income, hardship, and agree to self-sufficiency. All resources are limited. The primary organizations to try are below.
