Comanche County free food pantries.

Find some of the main soup kitchens and food pantries in Comanche County. Residents can call them for help. Whether it is a free box of food, a senior citizen signing up for Meals on Wheels, or a homeless person getting a hot meal, assistance will be provided.

The leading food banks as well as their day and hours of operation are listed below. The services available from each one will vary. Some (like the Salvation Army) operate a number of seasonal assistance programs, such as volunteers serve Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Or they help children from Comanche County get food during the summer when they are out of school.

Therefore the food pantries are effective at offering emergency help. For any very low income families, seniors, or someone with a disability, they may benefit from government aid such as food stamps. This intake site is in Lawton, and guidance can be given on that process as well.
