Catholic Charities West Virginia - Brooke County and the surrounding area are served. The non-profit agency provides emergency assistance and financial aid, including food, rent and housing help. Wheeling Health Right, Inc. - This is both a community and government supported free health care clinic. Primary health and medical care services for people with no medical insurance or Medicaid are offered, and who meet certain low income and poverty guidelines. Information Helpline/Upper Ohio Valley - The agency administers EF&S funds (formerly FEMA) for Ohio County, and may be able to provide holiday and Christmas Assistance Program for Ohio County. - Community clinic - Receive free or low cost medical care, including immunizations, check ups, referrals, pharmacy, and more.
- Weatherization - Get free energy conserving improvements and updates to your home.
- Medications - A pharmacy works with local doctors and drug companies to provide free or discounted medications.
- Emergency services - Limited help may be available for rent or other expenses.
