Baltimore free holiday and Christmas assistance.

Low income families in Baltimore Maryland may be able to get help from non-profits at the holidays. Children can receive free Christmas gifts, clothing, and toys. Senior citizens in the greater Baltimore area can receive a home delivered meal. Other aid may be provided too. Some of the leading agencies or churches to call for help are below.

The centers are open limited hours and also have an application process in place. Unfortunately not every family or applicant will be able to get assistance as the demand is very high. When possible, children may receive some toys or articles of clothing. They tend to be the priority as the Baltimore organizations do not want the child to go without during the Christmas or Thanksgiving season. Volunteers from the sites will also try to serve hot meals or distribute gift baskets to the less fortunate.
