Food pantries in Anne Arundel and Annapolis.
Several pantries, including churches and charities in Anne Arundel County Maryland, offer free food, meals, and groceries to the needy in the community. While each will offer their own resources, centers will normally have non-perishable and canned food or grocery items. Some may distribute fruits and vegetables, or hot meals from kitchens, or they may have information on who offers that service.
Qualifications and restriction are also put into place by the various Anne Arundel pantries. Many will often limit the number of times someone can use a center, or they will require proof of the hardship and proper ID. In general, the food banks will try to do their best to help as many people as possible and not turn any family away. If they can’t meet your need, people can be referred to other agencies and non-profits across Maryland.

A food bank can provide emergency groceries or free boxes of food to those in need. Baby supplies are offered too, and can include diapers, formula and clothes. Rarely items such as baby furniture may be offered, but there are no guarantees.
If the center can’t help you, the non-profit will assist callers in finding a local food pantry that will serve them what they need and provide a referral if needed. Lastly, the program provides free fresh produce to those in need at the Farmer's Market Pavilion. Come early as resources and support is limited.
