Free free health care programs are available. Two free clinics including the Alameda Health Consortium and the East Bay Agency for Children (call (510) 268-3770). Both of these agencies work to extend health insurance to individuals who currently do not have coverage. They can also refer people to other medical assistance programs.

  • In addition, the East Bay Agency for Children runs an on-site Community Mental and Dental Clinic, in partnership with La Clinica de la Raza. The free sliding fee health care clinic is open two days each and every week and it also provides physical exams, general check ups and vaccinations required to enroll in school and it can provide other needed treatments.
