Rental assistance in Collier County Florida.

Several charities, non-profits, churches and government programs in Collier County Florida may be able to help individuals who are struggling with paying their rent or housing costs. The non-profit organizations listed below may have emergency rental assistance available as well as other resources that are focused on helping the less fortunate through a difficult period. This additional support includes transitional housing, free legal aid to stop evictions or information on grants for security deposits.

With any rental assistance program, funding is limited, and priority is given to certain types of applicants. For example, families with children, the elderly, and disabled in Collier County may be provided funding first. Those with an eviction looming also have a better chance in qualifying for help. Oftentimes the programs that help with rent are short term in nature, and financial aid is offered in combination with longer term self-sufficiency programs such as credit repair or employment services.
