Pulaski County and Little Rock free Christmas assistance.

Assistance is available in Pulaski County during the Christmas holidays. The agencies that run these programs use donations of toys as well as food from the community. Churches or charities may provide free Christmas toys, Thanksgiving or holiday meals, and other help to the low income in the Little Rock area. They may also hold fund raisers, such as using the Red Kettle concept, to raise money to buy gifts or other items for the less fortunate. The main free holiday programs include Toys for Tots from local Charities, the Salvation Army angel Tree in Pulaski County as well as Adopt a Family.

Programs are available to provide toys to children and food to the entire low income household. Senior citizens in the city of Little Rock can also apply for home delivered meals as well. More volunteers are always needed to run these holiday services, so please give back if possible.

Each year, hundreds of local families (most of whom have children) get a free gift for their children. There can be toys, clothing, items, sneakers, shoes, and even video games. All of this will of course depend on what people donate to these Christmas programs in Pulaski County.
