When facing hunger, there are as many as 10 food pantries in Orangeburg County South Carolina that residents can turn to for help. Each of the locations has their own terms and conditions in place, but when qualified, residents can be given assistance in many different forms. The pantries, government offices, or charities may have free food, holiday meals, applications to food stamps, and even financial aid.
Almost all of the food banks in Orangeburg County are part of Feeding America and/or church based groups. However there are some exceptions, such as the Community Action Agency (CAA). Even if one of the pantries or soup kitchens listed below does not have what the client needs, they may still refer the struggling family to some other resource in their community.

They operate multiple meal sites or sou kitchens in the county. Each is open rotating days of the week. The non-profit feeds senior citizens in Orangeburg County. There is a noon meal as well as home delivery. Other classes are held, field trips, cooking classes, and other activities, such as Christmas meal and holiday parties.
