Free school supplies in Oklahoma City and County.

A number of free school supply giveaways and programs are available in both Oklahoma City as well as the county. There are items for low income students from Kindergarten to High School, the working poor, even teachers in the metro area. The goal is to ensure each child has free uniforms/clothes, writing material, bags, notebooks, Chromebooks and all the school supplies they need for the year. More details are below, or a residents can also try free clothing closets in Oklahoma County.

All of the charities, non-profits, and churches below have their own limited events and hours. Call for hours for any school supply programs as dates, applications, and criteria change. So do the items given, as these free school supply events depend on donations as well as volunteers.

When items are available, there may be free school bookbags; notebooks; pens or pencils; sneakers; laptops, tablets, or calculators; compasses or pro-tractors; clothes including uniforms or free shoes; winter gear; and much more. Each Oklahoma City charity has their own items they give to students. They help school age children Pre-K-12th. Or residents can find other places for free stuff.

The back to school supply assistance program is known as Operation School Bell. It gives kids a wide range of goods. Everything from books to pens or pencils, notebooks, backpacks, and more are offered. This Assistance league also supports the low income and single mothers in Oklahoma County too.

The charity helps the poor, less fortunate, and single moms among others. The annual summer/fall back to school supply giveaways help low income households. There may be backpacks, notebooks, gift certificates and many other school supply goods (all free) for students.
