Free Holiday and Christmas assistance programs Madison County Alabama.

Find where and how to get free Christmas toys, gifts and meals (including at Thanksgiving) in the Huntsville region. Many of the Madison County Alabama families seeking assistance at the holidays are lead by single mothers or the working poor, and they can enroll into free Toys for Tots or Angel Tree programs. Others that need help at Christmas are senior citizens looking for companionship, grandparents raising their grandchildren, or the underemployed.

When possible, free gifts, clothing, gift certificates, toys such as Legos or dolls and meals are served to Huntsville area families regardless of their age, race, or religion. There may be the chance for a free laptop or computer for those that donated them. One of the main services is free toys for tots from the Marine Corps and Salvation Army. Or learn more on free computers.

Several of the charities in the area run an Angel Tree program. This is not limited to the Salvation Army. This service uses donated toys, bikes, games, shoes, and more, and those items are then given to children based on their requests. But there are many other assistance programs that can also help low income families during the holiday season, whether it is Thanksgiving or Christmas.
