Low-income families in Las Vegas and Clark County will get free clothes, stuff for their home, school supplies, furniture and other items from a local clothing closet or furniture bank. Most of the agencies are non-profits, churches, or general charities. A number of free items may be provided to those who qualify, including baby clothing, free back to school supplies, appliances, beds or computers, couches or family room furniture. Assistance programs are administered to people of all ages, including children, single moms and senior citizens. Services are also available for Spanish speakers and immigrants can also get free clothes for their families or personal stuff. The resources available at these Las Vegas centers will vary and often depend on donations. Some of the locations may even have household goods such as as free washer or dryer, fridge, household appliances, furniture, and related goods for a home or apartment in Las Vegas.

Other seasonal needs may be met by the free clothing or furniture banks and thrift stores, such as Christmas gifts, toys, bedroom sets, desks for students or at home work, and even free school backpacks or supplies. HELP Center of Southern Nevada
This non-profit supports all of Clark County and the southern part of the state. Multiple assistance programs are offered, including free clothes for work or school, food, grants and financial aid. In an emergency, a furniture bank can give out some key household items, including kitchen supplies like pots or pans, appliances, laptops, couches and more. There are several sites. They offer back to school supply giveaway events (backpacks, shoes, notebooks, books, etc.), Angel Tree for Christmas toys or food, shelter for the homeless, referrals to job programs, and other forms of support.
