Kane County food banks and pantries.

Non-profits and churches in Kane County Illinois operate food pantries. The locations provide the needy and low income with assistance, including canned groceries and perishable goods. While there will be limits in place and an application process, hundreds of families receive help from these centers every month.

The locations are mainly staffed by volunteers and also rely on donations from the community. Some of what may be on site includes breads, frozen foods, fruits, vegetables and even more specialty type items such as baby formula and meals for the elderly and homebound.
