Residents of the state of Illinois can contact a dental center or free community clinic for access to, and information on, free or low cost dental care. Many sites will bill patients on a sliding fee scale and others will provide care for free.

Hundreds of thousands of families and individuals across Illinois lack health or medical insurance and they may or may not be on government assistance or public aid. These dental clinics and centers near you provide these individuals with an opportunity to get access to the services they need to help them meet their oral as well as dental care needs. Numerous programs are usually offered at these sites, and can range from cleanings, checks ups, oral surgery, to more specialty type care such as root canals.
