Hennepin County and Minneapolis area transitional housing and shelters.

When you are faced with a housing crisis or homelessness in Hennepin County Minnesota, a number of agencies offer transitional housing programs or shelters. The resources are offered for people of all backgrounds, including single parents, children, and individuals that were recently evicted. Some of the primary programs and non-profit agencies are listed below.

Thousands of local families face imminent eviction or face some form of short or long term homelessness every year. It can be due to a job loss or unexpected financial hardship. When this occurs, these transitional housing programs can provide you the time you need to get back on your feet.

In addition to a place to reside, many of the Minneapolis area agencies also provide case management, counseling, and other emergency aid.
