Henderson County North Carolina food pantries.

Henderson County families, no matter their income, have access to several different free food pantries as well as soup kitchens near them. The hours of each center vary, as do the services, but each and every one tries to provide food in an emergency, information on social services, and maybe even financial help in some cases. Find locations of food banks and feeding programs in the Hendersonville region below, as well as a toll free number at the bottom of the page for referrals.

Most of the assistance is provided by churches as well as charities in the region. Depending on the need of the family, they may be given bread, produce or other perishable items, personal care items, baby formula, and more. Some agencies use volunteers to deliver a free hot meal to senior citizens or the homebound in Henderson County.

The food banks in the area also want the client to become self-sufficient. They can direct them to long term services as well, some of which may help with bills or link clients to SNAP food stamp intake sites. So vary resources are administered for struggling families.
