Hawaii free holiday and Christmas programs.

Find where to get holiday assistance in Honolulu County as well as across Hawaii. Low income households can get free Christmas gifts, presents or toys for a kid, including from Angel Tree as well as Toys for Tots from US Marine Corps. Or find free Thanksgiving turkey dinners as well as holiday food boxes, including at Easter and Christmas.

Most of the holiday programs in Hawaii are focused on helping families in Honolulu. Seasonal services offer income qualified residents with a variety of assistance at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Using donations from the community, children may be given a free toy or small stocking stuffers. Seniors and others that are struggling may also receive gifts or a hot meal as well.

While there are no guarantees to receiving help at any holiday due to the demand and the donations that are needed, the charities as well as churches do their best to not turn anyone away. Of course in order to receive a present or Christmas gift, there will need to be proof of income as well as residency provided. The applications for help at the holidays most also be submitted on time, before the deadlines.

The main places to call for assistance are below. Not only may a family in Hawaii access assistance during the major holidays, but some non-profits will also offer case management services.
