Many low income families, disabled people, veterans, single moms and uninsured families can turn to free community clinics in the state. A wide range of free or low-cost health care services are offered, including to patients on Cardinal Care (Medicaid) or that have no money in VA. The Virginia Association of Free Clinics is a non-profit organization that coordinates free medical, dental, behavioral services and health care among the low income throughout the state. There is also free therapy and mental health counseling. They also ensure low cost, or free care, is given to people who have no or limited health insurance.

Patients will get help with prescription drugs, surgery, diabetes treatment and medications. There is also doctor on demand and free telehealh services in VA as many of the community clinics. Free women’s health care issues as well as care for adults and kids is arranged.
