Some of the goods will be provided for free and others are sold for low prices by thrift stores. Much of the stuff for low-income families, seniors or people with a disability will be free. There will be baby supplies, clothes for adults or kids, back to school supplies or backpacks as well as work items. Free furniture banks in Fairfax County will give out new or gently used beds, mattresses, washer or dryer, computers and other household items. The availability of what is given out will depend heavily on donations and contributions from the community. There may even be a free vehicle for work ot to get to a job, and find free cars given away near you.

The facility relies on donations from the community. They will then be sold or redistributed to the low income, children, and the needy in Fairfax County. They have a free school supply event for students from elementary to high school, and everything from uniforms to bookbags, back packs, and other free school items are passed out. Salvation Army Family Stores and Clothing Banks
The Christian church charity offers many social services to struggling residents in Fairfax County. Ranging from food from a pantry to shelter and more. They also have free Christmas toys from Angel Tree as well as winter clothes. Or apply for free school supplies during the summer or fall, as the charity can support the low-income in many ways. This is a regional non-profit that provides many household items. This can mostly include furniture for a new home or apartment. Families leaving homelessness as well as single mothers are main clients. The charity may have beds, couches, tables, and much more.
