Arlington and Fort Worth School System
Low-income families can apply for the free back to school supply giveaway. It is only for students in the Arlington as well as Fort Work Texas ISD. There are free supplies as well as other stuff or services offered, even including haircuts or hygiene supplies.

Dallas County ISD also gives away free school supplies to all students based on need. Even some free tech products or medical check ups may be given out too. A variety of assistance programs are offered. They give out free food, back to school supplies, meals or snacks for students and other items. Clothes are also give out to prepare kids for the new year.

Keeping Families Connected

Salvation Army of Northern TX
There are multiple sites in both Fort Worth County as well as Dallas. Everything from free gift cards to notebooks, pens, highlighters, textbooks and other school items are given out. The non-profit helps teachers in Tarrant County schools get classroom supplies. Everything from dry erasers to construction paper, pens, textbooks and more is given out. Teachers are able to select the supplies they need (client choice) for free.
