Clay County food pantries.

The Clay County Florida area, including the city of Green Cove Springs, has several food pantries that are focused on preventing hunger. Some of the non-profits may be based in other towns or even counties, but residents can still use those centers for a free box of food, holiday meal, or an article of clothing.

A particular focus of the locations is on helping senior citizens as well as families with young children.  There are even agencies that run a Meals on Wheels service that will bring a hot lunch or breakfast to a home bound person.

Other resources in Clay County include applications to SNAP food stamps and government benefits in Florida. Or residents can inquire into free personal hygiene goods or clothing items.
