Free clothing closets. furniture and school supplies Boone, Campbell and Kenton County.

Find low cost, or free, clothes, school supplies, furniture and other goods from clothing closets as well as furniture banks in Kenton, Boone, and Campbell County Kentucky. What is provided to the applicant will depend on their income as well as what is available. However the non-profit run clothing closets and thrift stores have everything from winter coats to school or work uniforms, household cleaning supplies, and more. There may be free appliances, laptops for students, book bags or beds and other furniture too.

Many of the locations are part of the larger network of sites in northern Kentucky. This means that if one of the clothing bank or free furniture site does not have what a client needs, then they will offer referrals instead. They are a source of information on everything from financial aid to pantries, Christmas gifts, and school items in Kenton and other counties.

Hundreds of people use the thrift stores or clothing closets. Some will be given gift cards or vouchers to pay for clothes, school uniforms or hygiene items, and others loan out medical supplies such as wheelchairs to seniors. Other individuals will need to pay, and some of the sites are income based as well. That means the cost is based on the client's income. Find the main clothing centers below.

There are as many as 10 thrift stores for people to shop at. Gently used, affordable furniture, appliances, toys, and more are sold.

After a home visit is done, clients of the church can be given free clothing, furniture for a new home, crutches, wheelchairs, and even prescription glasses. .

Various assistance programs are available. They provide a free back to school supply giveaway event each year, give out food and free Christmas or birthday toys, uniforms, offer shelter, hot meals, and more.
