Atlantic County free holiday assistance programs.

Non-profit organizations in Atlantic County provide Christmas as well as other holiday assistance to struggling families. If the applicant is facing a one-time crisis, or living in poverty, everything from free toys to home delivered food boxes to holiday meals may be provided across the county.

While the process to apply for assistance is simple, the resources are very limited. Most of the charities use donated gifts, toys, and also rely on volunteers to help the less fortunate. This means that not every person will qualify or be assisted, though they try their best to meet the demand.

Some of the programs in Atlantic County offer toys or Christmas presents, such as Angel Tree and Toys for Tots. Other services, such as the Salvation Army soup kitchen, is more focused on serving a meal or offering Thanksgiving Turkeys. However support is generally available.
