Holiday and free Christmas assistance in Arkansas.

Learn how children, low-income families and senior citizens in Arkansas can get free holiday help. Find Christmas programs including Toys for Tots, Angel Tree, Adopt a Family as well as free Christmas or Thanksgiving meals. Locate places that give free Christmas help in all cities and counties in Arkansas below.

Using donations from the community, thousands of low income families with kids as well as single moms or dads will usually benefit from some type of Christmas or Thanksgiving assistance. The elderly, grandparents caring for kids and disabled also will get help with the holidays. Get free Christmas present and gift programs or a free meal at Easter or Thanksgiving.

The programs are very local, and the agencies and churches listed below will focus just on the immediate area. There are other resources that operate across the entire state of Arkansas. Examples of what may be provided will be food items for a family to prepare their own meal. Or there can be gift baskets with Turkeys and other perishable goods.

An effort will also be made to ensure every child has some type of holiday present to open, so there may be gifts, toys, games, and books for the infant when donations allow. Examples of the programs that can make that happen may be Adopt a Family or local Angel Trees.

The application period will usually start in September, October, or thereabouts. All resources available around Christmas are limited, and meals and toys are usually provided first come and served.
