Washington and Benton County rent assistance.

In an emergency, there is help for paying rent in the greater Fayetteville and Bentonville Arkansas area. Several non-profit agencies provide support to individuals or families with an eviction notice or that are struggling. While funds are limited, tenants of all ages and backgrounds can apply for rental or security deposit assistance, including senior citizens or the disabled in Washington County.

There are also housing programs for Benton County families. Whether someone needs a grant or access to non-monetary aid, such as case management or placement into a shelter, agencies do coordinate rental assistance in the region for the less fortunate. The assistance can also come in the form of a grant or referrals to government programs such as section 8.

Anyone that is struggling to pay for their rent or other housing costs should seek help before they fall too far behind. Staff will help families apply if qualified, or they will link them to another local agency.
